General Business Underwriting & Claims Administration

The General Business and Underwriting Course is intended to broaden the knowledge of delegates on various aspects of underwriting and claims handling.

The workshop methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics as the emphasis is placed on the practical application of the knowledge gained, which will imbue the required confidence to apply the techniques learned with the right approach to insurance processes. 

This training will also take a critical look into Commercial Insurance Administration, Directors and Officers Liability Insurance, Business Interruption Insurance, Compulsory Insurance, Property Insurance, the structure of motor policies including commercial motor, fleet, motorcycle and non-standard wordings.
